i've been here 2wice and everything that was made was really good. From the bagels to the drinks. Very on point and they know what they're doing! I definitely felt the the Guatemala home feel. The food was Very comforting. Also, They have tables to dine in and a coffee station that i appreciate very much. The ambiance is giving very well kept and clean! will be back!
This, in my opinion, has the best breakfast burritos we have found in the Bay Area to date. We've had their chorizo wrap and their breakfast wrap with avocado and meat. They're not huge burritos but they're very flavorful and their salsas are great. The green tomatillo salsa has a very good flavor and I'd say is medium spicy and the red salsa is definitely spicy and makes us love this place. Additionally, we have also had several of their other food options. The caldo de res is super good and flavorful, and is our go-to when it's cold out or if one of us is sick. We've also had the Super Churrasco Chapin, Desayuno Guatemalteco, Platanos con todo, and tortilla con carne asada and all were delicious! Most of these also come with handmade corn tortillas! In addition to the food mentioned above, we have had several of their drinks, including several smoothies and coffees, such as their horchata latte and toasted marshmallow latte, all of which have been absolutely delicious! Overall, we have not been disappointed by anything we have tried here! Our family always asks us to order from here when they come over. This is easily one of our favorite places and highly recommend it to everyone!
Great service and fresh food! I ordered a breakfast wrap with bacon (asked for it extra crispy) and it was fantastic! Pretty simple, but great ingredients that are well-balanced: scrambled egg, cheese, avocado, potatoes, and choice of meat.
This place is so convenient and they carry such a huge variety of food to try out. I mainly come here to get breakfast or sandwiches for lunch. They're super quick and the food is tasty and decently priced. I can't complain. The panini was thin and crispy. The ingredients all complimented each other and I would get it again. The breakfast wrap was hearty and delicious, it was packed full of egg and meat which definitely did not disappoint!
I haven't had the chance to visit this place in person, but I rely on DoorDash to bring their delicious offerings to me regularly! If DoorDash offered an annual recap like Spotify, this spot would undoubtedly be at the top of my list. From their tasty breakfast plates to refreshing smoothies, I've savored every bite. Their breakfast burrito is a standout, and I'm hooked on their delicious caldo de res--it's become a must-have for me! What's even better is that their meals are not only delicious but also affordable. The quality and freshness of their food always leave me satisfied and eager for my next order.
What is the saying? Don't judge a book by having too many pages! Cuz they have everything here! Juice Bagels Burgers Breakfast Smoothies Sandwiches Fancy coffee But don't sleep on the Guatemalan cuisine! We got a caldo to split and lemme tell you about those handmade tortillas that's came with it! Oooh! Thick and soft and definitely handmade! It was also the first time I've ever had rellenitos con frijol! A sweet platano dumpling stuffed with refried black beans! Delicious dessert! The food here had a specific flavor that only certain chef's have. The "mom flavor" is what I've come to call it. It's extra good because they put their own special juju in their cooking. My mom has it, my mother in law has it, my grandma has it, my dad doesn't. Don't get me wrong, he's a good cook. But this spot has the "mom flavor." You'll know it when you taste it.
Yum! My workplace delivered food from Cafe Guatemalteco to my house as a get well token after surgery. I had never tasted Guatemalan cuisine so I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was yummy and delivered hot! What we got: Super Churrasco 7.5/10-shrimp was perfectly cooked, steak had good flavor, beans were delicious. Tamal de Pollo-8/10-great flavor and perfect masa to protein ratio. I loved that there were no surprises inside of the tamal, it was simple and delicious. Caldo de Res-10/10-my favorite dish. You could tell the caldo was slow-cooked, it tasted like home. I also love that they use yuca instead of potato which is nice for a change. So much flavor! Comes with a side of rice and handmade tortillas. The rice was also yummy. Being that the food travels well, I'll definitely be ordering from here in the future. I'm also looking forward to dining in person and trying more menu items.
** Please Note...All orders are made fresh to order, so please be prepared to wait... You will not be disappointed*** If you're in a hurry, I recommend placing a phone order. This place is nicely decorated and always busy, especially on the weekends. The lady who took my order was super nice and helpful. Even with the small language barrier, we were able to make sure the order was correct. My go-to: 1. Chorizo breakfast wrap - so flavorful, and the avocado/guacamole is fresh. I love that they cut it in half. I usually split it with my husband, and we switch. 2. Bacon and sausage breakfast wrap - Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It's the perfect portion of egg, meat, and potatoes. 3. Grilled cheese bagel with egg, bacon, and sausage- Yummy and cheesy goodness. It's pressed like a panini, so it's just like one mashed combo. Each bite is the perfect bite. 4. Platanos con crema - I love platanos, and this is perfectly grilled and sweet. I don't even use the crema. I really want to try the coffee one of these days and possibly try other dishes.
